Andrew Venroy, a Maitland property developer and founder of Venroy Group, converted the former Bondi Beach Post Office into a flagship shopping destination.
Venroy’s flagship store is located in a former Bondi Beach Post Office on Hall Street, and it measures
“As Venroy travels the globe, with stores in Sydney, Melbourne, and Byron, as well as Capri and Montauk, it feels like the ideal moment to reassess and expand our presence Bondi Beach, where it all began,” declared Sean Venturi, Venroy’s creator.
“The Venroy Bondi flagship is not only our biggest store to date, but also the most complete expression of our brand. It’s a celebration of everything we love at Venroy – holidays, travel, freedom, escapism – and we’re excited to open our doors as the Australian summer gets underway.”
Sarah I’Anson Design Office designed the store, which incorporates architectural characteristics typically found in Italian villas.
In addition, it has furniture pieces made of Australian cedar paired with other design accents such as a Vittorio Introini bookshelf, a custom Brud Studia table, antique Roman ceramics and Japanese Ikebana displays.
Venroy has eight shops across Australia, Italy, and the United States.
